After 18 years working in hands-on construction and sales — including time as a sales manager for a large construction company — I decided it was time to build something of my own. I knew the industry inside and out, I knew how to run a job the right way, and I knew exactly what homeowners deserved but weren’t always getting — clear communication, honest pricing, and work done right the first time. That’s why I started Kohlfeld Contracting. Not because it was the easy path, but because I knew I could do it better. Two and a half years in, every job we complete is proof that was the right call.
